Official Profile
Dr Lim graduated with an MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1985 and completed Advanced Orthopaedic Training with the Academy of Medicine Singapore. He went on to subspecialise in a Spinal Fellowship with the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, United Kingdom. He sat and passed the FIPP exams, which are a qualification for Interventional Pain Practitioners, in 2010.
He has practiced as a General Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Spinal Surgery since 1996. His spinal interests include Spinal Deformity Correction, Endoscopic Spine procedures, and Robotic Spine Surgery.
He has written research papers on orthopaedics and spine surgery and has been invited onto the editorial board of orthopaedic and spinal journals. He was the president of IMLAS (International Musculoskeletal Laser Society) in 2007 and is a member of the American Board of Regenerative Medicine.

Dr. Lim’s practice focuses on comprehensive musculoskeletal care with special interests in:
Spine Surgery: Treatment of slipped discs, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, and complex spinal deformities using Endoscopic and Robotic techniques.
Interventional Pain Management: Radio frequency ablation and intradiscal therapies for chronic back and neck pain (avoiding open surgery where possible).
Trauma & Fractures: Reconstruction of complex bone fractures and sports injuries.
